This year, the Atul Maheshwari Scholarship exam will award ₹50,000 each to 23 students from Class 9 and 10 studying in regional board schools, and ₹75,000 each to 23 students from Class 11 and 12.
Atul Maheshwari Scholarship: Online Application Deadline Extended Until 15th September
Details
Due to popular demand, the last date for online applications for the Atul Maheshwari Scholarship exam has been extended to 15th September 2024. Previously, the deadline was set for 30th August. While applying, ensure that all required information is accurately filled in.
The written exam for the scholarship will be conducted at designated centers in 83 cities. Applicants can choose the city most convenient for them. Details about the exam center will be provided in the admit card, which will be sent via email, so having a valid email ID is mandatory for all applicants.
Eligibility Criteria
Only students from regional education boards, studying in Classes 9 to 12, who have scored at least 60% in their previous annual exams, and whose annual family income is less than ₹2 lakh, are eligible to apply. Students currently in Class 8 or those who have already graduated from Class 12 are not eligible for this scholarship.
Applications will only be accepted online. In 2023, more than 100,000 students participated in this scholarship exam, with 44 successful students receiving a total of ₹27.50 lakh in scholarships.
Document Upload Guidelines
Applicants must upload their photo, previous class mark sheet, proof of residential address, and other required documents with their online application. Uploaded documents should not exceed 1 MB in size, or the application may be rejected.
Special Scholarships for Visually Impaired Students
As in previous years, two special scholarships will be awarded to visually impaired students. These students are allowed to bring a helper to the exam, who must be from a lower class. The helper must carry their school ID card to the exam.

Who Is Eligible For Amar Ujala Atul Maheshwari Scholarship?
Students who have secured more than 60 % marks in their last annual exams and are studying in 9th to 12th standard,
- All 9 to 12th class students having 60% marks
- Applicants belong to Chandigarh, J&K, Punjab Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and UP state.
- A student should be a resident of India.
- A student must be in class 9th to 12th.
- A candidate should have secured minimum 60% marks in previous year examination.
- The candidate’s household revenue must not be more than INR 1.5 Lac. annually.
- A candidate must be doing his and her schooling from the state board.
Amar Ujala Atul Maheshwari Rewards
Total scholarships are 36. From which the first 18 candidates are to be selected from the 9th and 10th classes, the remaining 18 candidates are to be selected from the 11th and 12th classes.
