Aim Of SOF Scholarship
SOF Scholarship of Excellence in English aims at rewarding the students who have extraordinary skills in the English subject of India. It is presented particularly for that student who has shown excellence in English.The scholarship will be awarded to outstanding students who achieve Academic Excellence in Olympiad tests in a variety of topics.
Eligibility For SOF Scholarship of Excellence In English (S.E.E)
- Must be the students of class 1st to 10th.
- Students should have scored at least 90% marks in English subject in the annual aggregate of the previous class.
- The student has scored a minimum of 85% of marks in the previous year exam as an aggregate.
How to apply for SOF Scholarship
- Students can apply in the scholarship through their school.
- Collect the form or fill online by their school
- Teachers can download the application form by clicking in the below link.
- The application must be in a prescribed format.
- On IEO October 2023 only participating schools can send their recommendations at NATIONAL OFFICE.

Total 120 students will be selected from across the nation under this SOF Scholarship of Excellence in English (S.E.E.) Scholarship. Each selected students will get INR 5000 and certificate of excellence.

How Does A Student Benefit By Taking Olympiad Exams?
you can be ranked in the Olympiad through your exam. 4 levels have been kept for passing the Olympiad Examination, if you pass one level then the resting level 3 such as four different levels – within the school, at the city level, at the regional level, at the regional level and internationally. Each student who will participate in this exam is given a student performance report.
The Student Performance Report mentions each and every performance of the students such as school-level city level zonal level international level every one of their week points and strong points are disseminated. After passing this exam, students are awarded awards such as the Cash Prize Medal Gift Certificate Extra. Selective international toppers of each category are honored at a grand prize distribution ceremony held in Delhi headed by eminent personalities. . Awards to zonal winners and school winners are sent to their respective schools. For the year 2023-24, an amount of Rs 20 crores will be spent on awards, honors, scholarships, etc.
Who is eligible for this Olympiad exam?
The student who is in the first class to the twelfth grade is eligible for this examination. There is no minimum criterion for this examination.
Class wise of the top 5% students who appear for the first level examination.
Zone wise top 25 rank holders class-wise, and
Class toppers from each participating school where at least 10 students of a class appear in the examination and score 50% merit marks.

What is the syllabus for the Olympiad exam?
The Olympiad exam is from the syllabus which is placed on the CBSE board and ICSE board. This is why students have to study only to sit for the exam and if you are sitting in the second level exam then the syllabus will remain syllabus but you are being urged that you can take some of the previous year’s question papers and see How the question is asked.
When does the Olympiad result release?
You can check the result through an online website and whether the result will be obtained through your school also and it will take at least 8 weeks for the results to come after the exam.
