Graphic Era awards merit or academic scholarships to those students who do exceptionally well in academic and educational frontiers. In 1993 a young man with just twenty-nine thousand and loads of determination embarked on a mission to transform the higher education landscape of the Doon valley. Graphic Era Deemed to be University is an institute of higher education in Clement Town, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. The university was founded as the ‘Graphic Era Institute of Technology in 1993. In 2008 it was accorded the status of Deemed to be University. Now graphic era university offers a scholarship for meritorious students to help in their higher education.

- The above scholarships are granted for one semester.
- For a subsequent semester, scholarships will be granted on the basis of the academic performance in the semester examinations.

GEU Btech Scholarship available from the first semester of University which is based on the merit list of the student the last qualification will continue as the same process from the next sem according to the eligibility criteria student have to behold 70% marks in the previous semester for the current program which is pursuing of the university.

Terms and Conditions of GEU Scholarships
1. Students availing scholarships are required to maintain a minimum of 70% aggregate across all semesters in order to continue to be eligible for scholarships. Failure to maintain a minimum percentage of 70% shall require the student to pay the normal fees prescribed by the university for the ensuing semester. No pleas/waivers shall be entertained under any circumstances.
2. For continuing eligibility for scholarships in the ensuing semesters, students need to clear the exams on the first attempt.
3. The amount of scholarship shall not exceed the total amount of tuition fees due for the semester.
4. Additional discounts (girl student, sibling, alumni referral, etc) if any shall be added up and applied against the net tuition fee payable after availing of the scholarship.
5. Only for engineering courses scores of PCM/PCB/JEE mains scores/ranking as the case may be shall be considered for determining eligibility for a scholarship. For all other courses, the aggregate of the scores obtained in all the subjects at the qualifying exam shall form the basis of scholarship eligibility.
6. There shall be no rounding off marks or percentages to the next highest whole number. For example, even 74.99 shall be considered as 74 marks or percentage respectively.
7. In case of any disputes, the decision of the University is final and shall be binding on the student.
8. Students availing of the scholarship shall be required to submit an affidavit duly signed by their legal guardian accepting the terms and conditions of the scholarship offer as specified by the University.
9. At any time there is a discovery of misrepresentation or fraudulent submission of documents or information relevant to the scholarships, the University reserves the right to recover actual fees due with an interest of 12 percent compounded annually. In addition, the candidate and/or his guardian shall be liable for legal action.
10. Legal disputes if any are restricted to Dehradun jurisdiction only
