Girl Child Scholarship:
- UPES is offering 25% scholarship to the girl students for the academic year of 2023 for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The scholarship will be offered to the students for the entire duration of the program provided they maintain an attendance of a minimum of 75% and should not have any discipline case against them.

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Scholarship (UPES) provides a limited scholarship for a special program and the Final decision of granting a scholarship is with the scholarship committee. the scholarship will be based on the merit list.

- * Seats will be reserved under this category, those who student 15% reservation for Uttarakhand domicile student.

The university will be announced six scholarships of Rs 50000, those who student top rank in the UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT). 3 out of 6 scholarships will be reserved, girl students.
A scholarship will be awarded by Oilmax Energy Pvt. Ltd., an integrated Oil & Gas Company with a balanced portfolio spreading from Exploration, Production, EPC, O&M to Gas Business.
Conditions for Scholarship Allotment :
Student Should be an applicant for UPES – EAT:-
- * This scholarship based on merit ranking and UPES EAT. Those three boys and three girls will be passed UPES – EAT.
- * Students not available at a time of register the scholarship will be passed, other candidates.
- * candidate join and get registered for a program in UPES
- * The Scholarship will be announced before 45 days from the date of joining the program.
- * Those students get the same marks in the UPESEAT rank then compare the higher PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) score in Class 12 will get the first priority
- * In case a student has a tie with another student in the UPESEAT rank, the student having a higher PCM mark, and age first priority.

UPES M.Tech. Scholarship 2023:-
Gate Scholarship:
Students admitted to M. Tech program in the academic session 2023 with valid GATE score 70 percentile and above will be considered for scholarship @ Rs. 12,400/- per month during their period of registration with the University.
Research Grant :
- * Student should be taken Rs 50000 Final decision of granting scholarship is with the scholarship committee. The mentioned percentiles are only the eligibility to apply for the scholarship.
- * The Scholarship 12400 every month for student having 70 percentile and above gate.
- * Those students need to maintain the regular attendance, discipline, exemplary behavior and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in the current semester without having the compartment in any subject . In case of failure, the scholarships amount shall be withdrawn. For the purpose of calculating percentage marks, the total marks in the qualifying examination will be considered only when eligibility criteria are restricted to some subjects.
UPES M.Des Scholarship 2023:-
Teaching Assistantship:
Scholarship @ Rs. 3000/- per month for Students having 80 percentile in UCEED or UPESDAT (06 Hrs. of work every week on campus from August-May month within 02 years of study)
Qualifying Criteria:
- * After complete the Academic session, the applicant will become to take your award for the Teaching Assistantship.
- * To become eligible for the continuance of the fellowship in subsequent semesters, the students are required
- * All student interview process have to conducted by Dean/Associate Dean/HoD
- * To become eligible for the continuance scholarship in subsequent semesters, the students are required to have an earned minimum SGPA / CGPA of 7.5 in the first semester.
