CBSE Scholarship programs for the Single girl child: To give a platform to explore their future
All single girl students, who have secured 60% or more marks in CBSE Class 10 examination and are studying Classes 11 and 12 in a school affiliated with CBSE whose tuition fee is not more than Rs. 1,500 per month during the academic year, shall be considered for the purpose. As per the Indian constitution, the girl child and boy child both have equal rights to live and to study and to support their families equally. But still, there are many families in India which gives more priorities for further studies to their sons instead of daughters. And to change the system the government had stated many scholarship programs for the girls to study further. The government supports the girls financially to study further and can choose the fields as per their interest in Science, Arts, Technical, Management, Commerce etc. NRI applicants of the Board are also eligible for the award. The tuition fee for the NRIs has been decided maximum of Rs. 6,000/- per month.
The Ministry of Education has a scholarship program for deserving single female students who are the only child of their parents, completed the CBSE Class 10th Examination with at least 60%, and are pursuing their secondary education in Classes 11 and 12. The program aims to promote deserving students and reward parents for their efforts in encouraging girls to pursue an education. The monthly scholarship payment will be 500.
Candidates can apply for two CBSE scholarship schemes before the ending date:
1. CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child for + 2 studies – 2024.
2. Renewal of Online applications of CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child 10 Pass awarded in 2024.
The rate of scholarship shall be Rupees Five Hundred (Rs. 500/-) per month. A Scholarship awarded under the scheme shall be paid for a maximum period of two years.
What is SOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme (GCSS)?
The SOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme (G.C.S.S.) 2024 is an annual scholarship program which provides financial assistance to girls of class 1 to class 10. The scholarship aims at providing financial assistance to girls from economically weaker section to enable them to pursue school education. SOF GCSS aims to provide financial assistance to girls from the economically weaker section, to enable them to continue their school education. 300 needy girls will be provided with an education scholarship amounting to Rs. 5000/- each for their education for a full year.
Selection Procedure of CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme For Single Girl Child
- Candidate must passe Class 10th from any CBSE board with 60% or more marks
- Pursuing Class 110th and 12th from CBSE affiliated Schools.
- Students should be ONLY CHILD of their parents.
- the student is pursuing Class XI after passing Class X from Board’s Examination and undertaking should be attested by the School Principal
- The tuition fee should not be more than Rs. 1,500/- per month in Class X and 10% enhancement for Class XI & XII.

Dr. Reddy’s Foundation Shashakt Scholarship
As per this scholarship program, the top girl candidates are awarded the scholarship reward of Rs 80,000 INR yearly to apply for the graduation courses. The eligibility criteria to apply for this the candidates need to be 12th passed from a well-recognized central board or state board. The due date to register for the scholarship is August 2024, must register online to apply.
Post SSC Scholarship from Gujarat Government: for the girl child
This scholarship is awarded by the official authorities of Gujarat Government to study further after 10th. The candidates can apply for this scholarship for class 11th to Ph.D. level courses. The selected candidates will be awarded a scholarship of 280 INR monthly. This scholarship will be awarded to the girl child only. The due date to apply for the course will August 2024.

Santoor Women Scholarship Program
This scholarship will be awarded to the girl candidates of the Telangana, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh State by the official authorities of the Wipro Care and Wipro Consumer Cares. As per this scholarship, the top ranked 900 girl students will be rewarded with the 24000 INR yearly to pursue their graduation course. This scholarship will support girls to study further and to prove them. The due date to apply is 15th August 2024.

Begum Hazrat Ali Scholarship for the minority girls: National Scholarship
The official authorities of Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India provides the scholarship to the girls belongs to the Minority Communities. The eligibility criterion to apply is that the annual income of her family must be below INR 2 Lakhs. The candidates selected will be rewarded with the 24000 INR yearly as a financial support for the family. The due date to apply will be till September 2024.

Savitri Phule Scholarship for VJNT/SBC/SC girl child
The official authority of Savitri Phule Trust provides this scholarship to the students of VJNT/SBC/SC. This scholarship will be awarded to the students to study further up to Rs 100 per month. The candidates will receive this reward for the 10 months in a year and can study further. to apply for the scholarship the due date to apply is 31st December 2024.
