Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I contact a scholarship administrator?

At the bottom of each listing on http://nsat.narayanagroup.com/ is contact info for students. Usually, this will be an email, but it might be an address or phone number.

Are only first-year undergraduate students eligible to apply for NSAT Scholarship?

Yes, only those students who have passed Class XII(CBSE board) or equivalent Examination of State Boards for the current year are eligible to apply.

Are students enrolled in dual degree courses eligible to apply?

Yes. However, the awardees will be eligible to draw  NSAT Scholarship only till the tenure of the first-degree program.

What is the amount of scholarship payable to the awardees?

Their amount of scholarship depends upon the course of study of the awardee. For the students pursuing General Degree Courses (BA, BSc, BCom, BMS, BBA etc.). and for students pursuing professional degree courses (B.E., BTech, MBBS, B. Pharm. etc.).

Can the students apply anytime during the year of admission?

No. Students can only apply online on the NSAT Scholarship (http://nsat.narayanagroup.com/) during a particular time period as displayed on the website.

Does applying for a scholarship before the deadline help me?

Unfortunately there is no benefit to submitting early. The important thing is that your full application is being received before the deadline. Scholarship applicants have to review every deposit, but they cannot do so in the order of receipt. Note an initial, widespread application, rather than an initial one.

How do I get a scholarship?

Apply — it’s that simple! Many students assume they won’t win, and so they don’t apply. Many scholarships go unclaimed every year. Once you’ve figured out the scholarships you qualify for, start applying. You’ll probably hear back from the award admin before you know it.
