PMSS scholarship was introduced in 2006 and one of the best initiatives by PM Narendra Modi, PMSS scholarship is also known as Prime Mister Scholarship Scholarship Scheme and is funded out of National Defence Fund administered by the Prime Mister Office. 31st October 2024 is the last date of PMSS Scholarship. Around 500 new scholarships will be added to the police officials who were martyred.  

The PM Scholarship Scheme has also reduced dropout rates at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This bequest will support ex-servicemen’s wards and widows with their education. The plan would provide selected students with enough money to continue their education.

The main aim of this PMSS Scholarship is to encourage PG students and technical background students. The scholarship is available for all major streams and courses such as MBA, MCA, Medical, Technical and other courses but the institute or college is AICTE /UGC Approval. Through the PMSS Scholarship, boys get INR 2,000 and INR 2250 for the girls every month and are paid annually for their education. Interested Candidates fill the PMSS scholarship before the last date i.e is 31st October 2024.
