The Education board of Bihar released Rs 423 crore for the backward class students who have passed 10th with first class in the current financial year 2021-22. The amount has been approved for the Backward Classes and Most Backward Classes Welfare Department. The amount of the Bihar scholarship is 10 Thousand for all the students.

Deputy Secretary, Education Department, Arshad Firoz released the announcement releasing the amount on Tuesday. The main aim of the scholarship amount is to provide education to backward classes students so the students can take admission in higher education.

10 Thousand Rupees will get every student under Chief Minister Extremely Backward Classes Meritorious Scheme, Total Rs 249 crore 14 lakh 60 thousand has been released for the scholarship.174 crore 87 lakh 90 thousand rupees have been released under the Backward Classes Scheme. The scholarship amount will be available only for those students who are from the backward class or whose parent’s annual income is less than 1.5 lakhs.
