Assam Scholarship 2023:- Assam has a great opportunity as the Director of Higher Education. Assam Scholarship is a very popular and popular scheme for the residents of Assam, it is given to the meritorious students who do very well in their studies and are taking their state’s name. With a view to providing educational opportunities to students with disabilities, the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities is implementing scholarship for three scholarship schemes ie, pre-matriculation, post-matriculation for their empowerment through education, and above class education. Assam is fully responsible for providing scholarship schemes at degree, master’s degree, and Ph.D. levels. Eligibility Criteria of Assam Scholarship
- Students must be residents of Assam.
- It is compulsory for students to get 60% marks in 12th class for higher education.
- Candidate should pursing the Degree / Master Degree Courses in Arts/ Science/ Commerce discipline for the academic year 2023-24 from a recognized.
- Students should have their own valet bank account in their name and at the time of submitting the application, they have to submit their all bank details and carefully the income IFSC code should be correct.
- Students who are studying for MPhil and Ph.D. are students Eligible for the Assam Scholarship.

Pre-Assam Scholarship for Scheduled Tribes:
For classes I to IX
- Assam Scholarship will be awarded to those students whose parents/guardians income does not exceed Rs. 50,000 / – per year.
Assam Eligibility Criteria for Scheduled Tribe Category Pre Matric Scholarship:
For Class: IX to X
- Students must be from ST
- The income of his parents should not exceed Rs. 2.00 Lakh Per Year
Pre Matric Eligibility for OBC Category:
- 2,50,000 / – per year for those students whose parents salary is not more.
Assam Post Matric Scholarship for OBC category:
- The scholarship is for Indian candidates only.
- Candidates who have completed their matriculation from a recognized board can apply for this scheme.
Post Matric Scholarship Criteria for ST Class:
- The salary of their parents should be between Rs. 2 lakh to Rs. 2.50 lakhs.

Scholarship details
- Scholarship candidates are selected based on the merit list. This scholarship is given for four academic years. It is important to note that the student who scored above 50% marks in the academic year exam can only get the scholarship for the next academic year.
- Based on the marks the student should renewal for next year. Every year the scholarship amount will be sent to the student’s bank account directly.
- Students who have scored the rank below 10,000 in the competitive exams are eligible for getting a 100% scholarship. If any students have scored the rank more than 10,000 will not get 100% scholarship but maybe a chance to get up to 50% scholarship amount.
- While filling the details in the application form please be cautious because if you enter the wrong details there is a case of rejection also.
- The documents to be carried out by the students are residence certificate, income certificate, caste certificate, Bonafide certificate, mark sheet of class X, and 12th.
- The students should not that they should apply for any other scholarship. Only two persons of the family can get the scholarship. Students under the scheme should not be more than 17 years.
