OP Jindal Scholarship, Eligibility & Awarded

OP Jindal Scholarships:- The term OP Jindal Engineering and Management College is being presented to the students Mr. OP Jindal Foundation Father of the Jindal Group. The scheme has been started since 2007 and in 2008, 21 engineering colleges and 10 management colleges also started offering scholarships. Each year 100 students are awarded a scholarship by Engineering and Management candidates from OP Jindal Foundation. Mr. OP Jindal and potential entrepreneurs to become leaders in excellence and innovation. Every year, 100 students from 40 major engineering and management institutes are awarded. In the last 5 years, more than 500 students have been awarded this prestigious scholarship. Students should not waste any time and apply their application form before the last date, otherwise, after the last date, your application form will be canceled.

The OP Jindal Scholarships is being organized for undergraduate and postgraduate students. To get this scholarship all the candidates have to clear the written Exam and Interview which will be organized on behalf of the OP Jindal Foundation every year in the month of 29 August 2021. 

Engineering Institutes 

First three toppers from each year of the following streams of engineering:

a. Civil Engineering
b. Electrical Engineering
c. Mechanical Engineering
d. Metallurgical Engineering

The selection of students from 1st year will be based on the entrance exam ranking considered by college at the time of the selection.

The selection of students from 2nd, 3rd and 4th year will be based on the academic performance of the previous year.

Scholarship Awarded 

Management students are given up to one and a 1,50,000 for their studies and engineers are given a profit of up to 80000 for their studies so that they can complete their further studies.

Eligibility Criteria 

Engineering students of OP Jindal Scholarships

  • Students will receive the scholarship only through the eligibility criteria. If you do not sit as per the memorandum of education, then you will not be made a part of this scheme.
  • First three toppers of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year students of the following streams of engineering:
  1. Civil Engineering
  2. Electrical Engineering
  3. Mechanical Engineering
  4. Metallurgical Engineering
  • Those students who have received near home admission through an entrance in the first year are considered as eligible for this scheme.
  • Those students will be selected based on their Academy performance. This is for both Master’s degree and graduation level.

Management students

  • Those students who have received near home admission through an entrance in the first year are considered as eligible for this scheme.
  • Those students will be selected based on their Academy performance. This is for both Master’s degree and graduation level.

Students have to submit the OP Jindal Scholarships application form offline and online and all the information asked will have to be given to them properly otherwise their application form can be canceled. What type of ID do I need to present at check-in?

O. P. Jindal Global University requires students to have a government-issued or school-issued photo ID before obtaining an AISP ID. Examples of such IDs may include passports, Aadhaar ID cards.
For students who do not currently have a government-issued photo ID, we recommend bringing school-issued photo IDs and Aadhaar cards, which can be issued to minors.

What certificate do I get by completing the Aspire India Scholars Program?

Your certificate O.P. Jindal will be released by Global University and will state your name and course dates; It will be signed by the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar of the University. You will receive the certificate during the graduation day ceremony on your last day of AISP.

Is AISP me OP Will Jindal help in coming to Global University (JGU)?

Admission to AISP O.P. Jindal does not guarantee admission to Global University. What you take away from this experience, how you share that experience through your final presentation and how this experience enhances your intellectual life, is of importance here. Unfortunately, there is no golden ticket to enter the JGU.

How long is the OP Jindal Scholarship, Eligibility & Awarded program?

The Aspire India Scholar Program is for two weeks. AISP scholars are not required to miss 100% attendance and other activities during the AISP schedule.
