McDonalds is Awarding Scholarships
McDonald’s is ready to announce its biggest announcement of this year which is HACER, their company is providing more than 100 scholarships for Hispanic students. This comes under as an extension of the annual national scholarship offered by the HACER company every year.
With the help of HACER, McDonald’s is giving $1 million to the Hispanic students so that this can act as help in assisting the financial stability of the students giving them the chance to study at a higher level thereby eradicating the stress of higher education costs be it in college level. According to the study conducted by Pew Research, it was seen that all the Hispanic students and their family members are concerned about their financial issues regarding education and also how they will pay their bills, debt, health care, etc. Also pandemic has created a strain among all. It’s been difficult to collect funds for education when they can’t even manage to get money for their food. This pandemic has created uncertainty in the long run. Seeing all the facts, McDonald’s committed to giving more HACER scholarships to help more and more students. In the year 2021, more than 100 scholarships are given to the Hispanic students that come to a total of 130 scholarships for the sessions 2021-2021. The students selected for 2021 HACER scholarships will be enrolled in spring 2021. These applicants need to be eligible for the scholarship then only they can apply to the same. whereas, HACER scholarships more applicants will be selected in October. This is because so that funds can be used in the current year.
McDonald’s HACER scholarships are one of the biggest scholarship programs committed to college scholarships and especially for Hispanic students so that they can invest more time in studies rather than doing something which is not even worth it. Till now HACER company has given $31.5 as a scholarship amount to the students. Also, students or winners who got selected for HACER national scholarship received the scholarship amount and also a laptop, wireless mouse, and headphones. These things were given so that they can easily manage the virtual environment of studying during the pandemic.when the whole world is at risk, struggling to accept the new normalities and realities of the environment, there is another side of the coin which divulges how drastically pandemic has been affecting everyone. People will recognize the changes caused by the coronavirus outbreak that will completely change the perception of people looking at things.
