College of Central Florida offering Scholarships for short term programs

The COVID 19 pandemic has brought a wave of negativity in the vast majority of the population. To abate this feeling of negativity among the population, the College of Central Florida is offering Scholarships for short term programs. The programs will help the students to skill themselves for the jobs that are in demand. The candidates who were in these jobs prior to COVID 19 can enhance or upgrade their skills by pursuing these short-term programs.

The State of Florida has awarded a Rapid Credentialing Grant of $505,000. They are giving the funds as a part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, because of which College of Central Florida is offering Scholarships for short term programs. The short term courses are especially for those who don’t have any jobs or can meet the eligibility criteria to attend CF with zero tuition expenses. Students can also get additional funds for various other course-related purposes.

Candidates can pursue programs like

  • computer information data specialists,
  • accounting technology specialists,
  • transport specialists and more.

Emergency Medical Technician program’s students can also be eligible for the scholarships.  

The courses are mostly online, and the duration is 18 weeks or less. Furthermore, the courses are entry-level courses. The Business Entrepreneurship College Credit Certificate program will also be supported by The Rapid Credentialing Grant. Seats are limited for the program.
