UP government has extended the date of UP Scholarship 2021-22 payment to the students of SC-ST, general category, OBC, and minority students studying in pre-matric and post-matric classes. According to media reports, instead of 27th December 2021 for pre-matric students, the amount will now be paid till 4th January 2021 and for post-matric students on 6th January 2022.

According to media reports, on 27th December 2022, the amount was not sent to the students’ account because under the Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme, the last date to verify the data after approval from the District Level District Scholarship (UP Scholarship 2021-22) approval committee. After the approval of the District Scholarship Approval Committee from the district level under the 30th December 2021 and the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme, the last date to verify the data is 2nd January 2022, i.e., today.

After verifying the data, demand data will be generated on Aadhaar. After this, the scholarship will be paid to the eligible students. At the same time, on Sunday, the Chief Secretary has also ordered to send the scholarship to the account in three days. It is believed that the amount will be sent to the account of all the students from 4th January 2022.

Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra has said that the scholarship amount should be sent to the student’s account at any cost within three days. So that they can be helped in their studies, let us tell you that scholarship (UP Scholarship 2021-22) is distributed to more than 40 lakh students every year by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
