UP Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/General category students 2023-24: Uttar Pradesh Government initiating the UP Post Matric Scholarship 2023. The main aim to encourage and to give financial support to those students who belong to the economically weak family background.
Latest Update: The applications for UP Pre-Matric and UP Post-Matric Scholarships for 2023-24 will start from 23rd July 2023 and 20th July 2023 ,respectively. The last date to apply for both the scholarships is 12th October 2023 and 21st October 2023.

UP Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/General category Students Eligibility
Only the candidates belongs to SC/ST/General category and pursuing 11th to graduate courses are eligible for the scholarship.
Procedure to Apply UP Post Matric scholarship program
- To start the registration visit to the official website.
- Fill all the required important information and then click on the “submit” button.
- Using their registered email id and password to log in.
Note:- must take a print out after proper registration for scholarship and don’t forget it for your further use.
Documents Required Before Filling the Form
To apply for the UP post merit scholarship program following documents are required:-
- Family income certificate of the student
- Cast certificate of the student
- Address proof
- Self – attested passport size photo with the signature of the student
- Aadhar card
- Photocopy of bank passbook

Pre-matriculation, post matriculation, and merit cum mean-based scholarship schemes are online schemes and for new or renewal scholarship under any of these schemes can apply on National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at www.chcholarships.gov.in. The link of the portal is also provided on the website of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, ie www.minorityaffairs.gov.in. For registration on NSP, an online undertaking has to be submitted by the applicant who is more than 18 years of age and by the parent/guardian if the applicant is under 18 years of age.
Applicants/students who have correctly entered Aadhaar in their online application and if their Aadhaar is linked to any of their bank accounts, in such cases the scholarship amount will be the bank account linked to that Aadhaar even if The student may have mentioned another non-Aadhaar linked bank account in his online application.
You can edit the draft / incomplete information filled by you till the submission of the online application. To edit the application, go to the option “Student Login” → enter the application ID and then click on the submit ‘Login’ button.
No, until you are satisfied that you have entered all the desired fields correctly, you can fill online application in many meetings using a saved draft. The software provides the facility to save your application at every stage until you click on the ‘submit button.
If the application is marked as ‘defective’ by the institute/district/state, the application will be returned to the student for correction of the defect in his / her application form. Students can fix the defect and resubmit the application for re-verification within the given time on the NSP.
