University of the People Teaching Method

The University courses are delivered to a group of students maximum of 20 to 30 under the direction and supervision of a senior faculty member. In order to get a bachelor’s degree from the University of the People, students are required to complete 40 courses. Each course is a nine-week course and it is based on OER or we can say the content of the study material is drawn from Open Educational Resources. This is also course effective as no textbook or material cost is incurred. Students are asked to pay the amount at the end of the course which can also be waived off if a student can show that they cannot pay. University of the People Fees
The university believes in the low-cost, high-quality model. Students enrolled at the University of the People are exempted from paying instructions, books or traditional campus costs. The mission of the university is affordable and accessible education for all. One of the biggest costs which is traditional campus cost has been removed. But students are required to pay a one-time application and assessment fee to make sure that the mission of the university is alive and that they are able to fulfil their basic general university operations. University of the People is an american accredited university. Students can pay the application and assessment fees through various modes. Some of the payment gateways are Credit/Debit Cards (VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express). Students can also pay the fees through cryptocurrency (Bitcoin or Ethereum).

The University offers courses at associate, bachelor and master’s level. These courses are offered in allied sectors. Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees are offered in Business Administration, Computer Science and Health Science streams. Non- Degree programmes are offered in Business Administration, Computer Science, Health Science, and English as a Second Language (ESL).
