Online applications are invited for scholarships to students of Sanskrit Schools / Colleges / Higher / Higher Secondary Schools / Colleges for the year 2021-2022 under the scheme for the development of Sanskrit education. Accordingly, the Govt. The institute provides Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Scholarship to meritorious Sanskrit students belonging to constituent campuses and other institutions across the country in India.

The institute also offers a merit scholarship on an all-India basis, it will be given only to those students who are doing higher studies with regard to Sanskrit, form any organization. Purvamadhyama to the level of Uttamadhyayam / Prac-Shastri and Shastri / Acharya / Vidya-Vardhi. Studies are done. Modern institutes of secondary / senior secondary schools (from 9th to 12th standard) and undergraduate / postgraduate level / Ph.D. This scholarship will be given to students from 9 classes to 11 who are interested in Sanskrit and have kept Sanskrit as the main classes.

Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Scholarship 2021-22

Govt. of India awards scholarships through Sansthan to meritorious students of Sanskrit related to constituent campuses and other institutions throughout the country. The Sansthan also awards a merit scholarship on All India Basis to regular students pursuing the higher course of studies in Sanskrit including Pali/Prakrit in any recognized traditional Pathashalas from Purvamadhyama to Uttarmadhyama/Prak-Shastri and the level of Shastri/Acharya/Vidya-Varidhi and Modern institutions from Secondary/Senior Secondary Schools (from 9th to 12th standard) and the levels of Graduation/Post Graduation/Ph.D.

The Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Scholarship awarded to those student who have obtained the minimum percentage or equivalent grade in Sanskrit/Pali/Prakrit and aggregate in all subjects can be applied for Scholarship –

– 60% marks
  • SC/ST/Differently abled
– 50% marks
  • OBC
– 55% marks

Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Scholarship to be awarded each year depends upon the availability of funds. The applications will be invited through advertisements which circulated in popular Newpapers in all India every year in between July to August month.

Eligibility Criteria of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Scholarship

Candidates must be residents in India.

From Class 9th to 12th Class Sanskrit should be a part of the syllabus with an allocation of at least 100 marks for the subject.

In the current academic year, the candidate should have Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit as an optional/main subject.

A candidate should have passed the previous class with a total of 60% marks and must have at least 60% marks in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit in that examination.

Graduation or Shastri Course For the first year of graduation, aspiring the 12th grade will be received at least passed with 60% marks and at least 60% marks in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit.

For the second year of graduate and third-year businesses should Sanskrit as a subject should approve the last two semesters and the current academic year.

The allotment of marks for a Sanskrit subject in the syllabus should be at least 100.

Post Graduation or Shastri Course For the first year of post-graduation, candidates must obtain at least should be graduates with 60% marks and related topics at least 60% points.

For the second year post-graduation, it should be lower than the previous two semesters with 60% marks to a candidate.

The candidate should have Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit as a subject in the current academic year.

Ph.D/Vidyavaridhi Course in Sanskrit Aspiring might have passed at least the degree of MA or masters in Sanskrit with 60% marks.

Scholarship Award

Students will be given this amount for their 10 months.

9th & 10th Class Rs. 250/month
11th & 12th Class Rs. 300/month
Shastri/Graduation Rs. 400/month
Acharya/Post Graduation Rs. 500/month
Vidyavaridhi/Ph.D Course Rs. 1500 /month  + Rs. 2000 per year as contingent for two years.
