The Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) is an organization under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas in India. It conducts various competitions for students to promote energy conservation and awareness about the responsible use of petroleum products. PCRA competition 2024 registration is ongoing , The competition are usually conducted at various levels such as school, district, state and national level, and are open to students of all ages. These competitions may include essay writing, poster making, quiz, elocution and painting competitions. PCRA Competition 2024
30 March 2024 is the deadline to fill out the PCRA Competition application form at the official website. This is a welfare program with an objective for Humanity and introduced a beautiful thought of ‘Not to waste petrol’. The official authority of the Petroleum Conservation Research Association conducts this event of reciting the poems and singing the song. The Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA), in the guidance of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India rewarded the winner with a cash prize or any other precious gift. Schools to conduct Essay compeons in one or more of the following languages- Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujara, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Maithili, Dogri, Nepali, Bodo and Santhali.

PCRA Contest for Poem/Song: Petroleum Conservation Research Association conducts this event
The young candidates of schools and colleges are eligible to participate in this contest to explore their talents. Such initiatives are to encourage and awake the peoples of our country to understand that ‘Save Petro, Save Life’.
PCRA works closely with public sector oil and gas companies, government and non-government organizations, research institutes and laboratories, educational institutions, consumer associations, and other organizations to promote fuel efficiency and conservation in a variety of economic sectors, including industry, agriculture, transport, domestic, and commercial.

- The winning candidates of all the categories will be awarded the reward of INR 2000/- or a mobile phone or a tablet.
- The second prize winners of this contest will receive an award of INR 10,000/- in all categories.
- The third prize winner candidates of all the categories will receive a reward of INR 5000/.
- The consolations prize will give to the 5 runner-up candidates for their best performances and will be awarded a gift voucher of INR 3000/.
PCRA Competition Eligibility Criteria
The contest will be divided into 3 categories based on educational qualifications.
- The students at school level studying in between 5th to 12th class are eligible to apply for this contest.
- The students studying at a college level, university level or Ph.D. level will be eligible to apply for this contest.
- Now the last category belongs to the general people to apply for this contest of any age group.

The applications for the PCRA Contest for Poem/Song will be received by the official authorities of the Petroleum Conservation Research Association. The applicants need to follow the steps given below. Documents Required for the PCRA Scholarship

- To apply for the contest you must have the valid school identity card.
- The students must have the Aadhar card and the computer generates registration copy to apply for the contest.
T&C to apply for PCRA Contest for Poem/Song
- The contestant must sing minimum 12 and maximum 2o lines of the poem or song.
- An applicant can be eligible for only one category to sing.
- Any candidates of PCRA or their family members are not eligible to apply for the contest.
- The poem or the song must be in Hindi language only.
