Has made a plan for those who want to pursue their studies in sports careers. Rashtriya Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited, an undertaking of the Central Government of India which is only domicile Assam and invites an application form for a total of 214 seats of NHPC Scholarship 2021 for those students fulfilling all relevant criteria. Eligibility Criteria
- Students pursuing full time/regular courses are eligible.
- Only those candidates who are domiciled in Assam are eligible to apply against “Assam for NHPC Scholarship 2021 Scheme”.
- The gross annual income of the candidate’s family from all sources during a financial year should not exceed Rs. 2.0 lakhs.
- However, in case of non-availability of students in the prescribed income ceiling, the income ceiling may be exempted to Rs 4.0 lakh.
- For SL. No.1, students pursuing Master’s course from IIT (s) / NIT (s) / Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and not receiving any financial assistance / scholarship are only eligible to apply.
- Full Time / Regular Courses (No Correspondence / Distance / Online Mode) Students in Colleges / Universities / Institutions recognized by AICTE / State Board of Technical Education / MCI / MOHRD are eligible to apply.

- 50% scholarship will be reserved for the students of North Lakhimpur and Dhemaji districts. For any deficiency in this category, the same will be made available to candidates from other districts of Assam.
- 50% scholarship will be reserved for girl students. For any deficiency in this category, boys will be made available to the students.

How to Apply of NHPC Scholarship 2021?

Q- Whether I have to fill up the online application in one sitting?
Ans- No. You can register by entering your basic details. The system would generate an Applicant-id & password for you. Please note down the generated Applicant-Id & Password. Later you can fill up the online application in as many sittings as you wish until you are satisfied that you have entered all desirable fields correctly. The software provides the facility to save your application. Once you “Lock” your application, you cannot be able to modify it further.
Q- How can I edit the entries, which are not editable at the Institute level?
Ans- If you have to edit certain entries like Institute Name, Course & Branch, annual Income, etc., which are not editable at the Institute level, you should request the Scholarship Nodal Officer of your Institute to “temporarily Reject” your application, mentioning the mistakes detected by you too. The Application will then be made available at the Applicant level, by the software. You can then log in using provided User-id & password and edit the required details. After editing lock the application again so that it will be forwarded to the Institute.
Q- Can I take a print-out of my application at any stage?
Ans- Yes. Printout of application can be taken at any stage. The finally locked application will have the “Barcode”, which is to be submitted at the Institute.
Q- What all documents for NHPC Scholarship?
Ans- You have to submit Original Caste Certificate, Original Income Certificate, Copy of High School Certificate, Copy of the first page of Bank Passbook (showing IFSC Code of the Bank & Bank Account Number), and Handicap Certificate (if any) along with the print out of the Application. Institute would verify the original certificates & return back to the students.
