So, the university extends scholarship scheme to students of various criteria. Scholarships can be availed in all programs of the university, from diplomas to Ph.D. Students have been awarded a scholarship worth Rs. 100 + crores in the last year itself.
Scholarship Conditions
- Students have to pass the 12th class.
- The student who is in undergraduate and post-graduation is eligible for the Lovely Professional University Scholarship.
- Certain National Level Tests (like JEE (Main), NEET, UCEED, CAT, MAT, GATE, GPAT etc.)
- LPUNEST (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test)
Scholarship Categories:
Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories:
- Eligibility Qualification: (for example 10+2 for Under graduate Programmes and graduation for PG Programmes)
- LPUNEST: (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test)
- Certain National Level Tests (like JEE (Main), NEET, UCEED, CAT, MAT, GATE, GPAT etc.)
- Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards.
Scholarship Holders
For each category mentioned above, three brackets of Scholarship (Bracket 1, 2 and 3) are defined. Each bracket represents specific criteria (for example scores in qualifying exam) which an applicant has to reach for him/her to fall in that particular bracket. The criteria in each bracket decreases as it proceeds and so does the scholarships. So, the students meeting the requirement of Bracket- 1 gets the highest Scholarship and those in Bracket – 2 or 3 gets the relatively lesser scholarship.

Scholarship Phases:
The amount of Scholarship also depends on the Phase in which the candidate takes Admission in the University. Admissions in LPU is done in different Phases, which are bifurcations of the Admission time period. Phase I starts as early as January and continues till the end of April 2021. The subsequent phases (Phase II, III, IV) are conducted only if the seats in the concerned Programme remain vacant. The amount of Scholarship reduces with each passing phase.
Lovely Professional University Scholarship Wavier
Scholarships based on sports, cultural, co-curricular, research and development, social service and bravery etc. are also B.Ed., B.Ed. Will be applicable in the case of – Yoga, MA – Hindi and MA – Punjabi. However in such cases, sports, cultural, co-curricular, R&D, social scholarship policy for tuition fee waiver (ie ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’ and ‘E’) for various grades. Service and bravery etc. will be followed as specified in:
- 100% tuition fee waiver – for grades ‘A’ and ‘B’
- 50% discount on tuition fees – for grade ‘C’
- 25% discount on tuition fees – for grades ‘D’ and ‘E’

Can I submit the application form once?
No, you must first submit your Personal details, after registration, the system will generate the application ID and password for you, which will be sent by your mail ID or SMS. You can fill your application form with your ID and password. The software provides the facility to save your application.
Where do I send my documents?
All Lovely Professional University Scholarship documents must be uploaded to the Lovely Professional University website, the most secure method of handling these sensitive documents. Any documents sent to our office via mail or fax will be immediately shredded for your privacy.
I am also good at sports, can I be eligible for the scholarship according to its certificate?
You can avail scholarship facilities through sports. Also if you have received social service, cultural, bravery awards, then you will be eligible for the scholarship.
If I forget my Applicant ID / Password what should I do?
Students can recover their applicant ID/password by clicking “Registered Students: Retrieve Your Password” from the Registered Student Log-in box. You will have to fill in details such as first name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID, as you have entered in the application while creating the initial password. The application will regenerate the password and SMS will be sent to your contact mobile number.
Do I currently need to enroll in university to apply?
If you are not yet enrolled, please provide information on their first choice of university to attend. No intention of funding certificate or training programs. The application must be submitted in January.
