Kejriwal also informed that his govt is starting a portal – . “Those who are looking to recruit people for jobs can go to the website and update their requirement. Job seekers can also go there and update their qualification, experience & requirement. It’ll be a Rozgar Bazar”, he said.

He said that the move will immensely help businesses, construction companies, professional and shopkeepers in the capital city. “It is a big step towards bridging the gap between job seekers and providers.”

Kejriwal also requested the labourers who had migrated to their states during the lockdown to come back and resume their jobs. “A lot of migrant labourers have now started coming back. I request the rest to come back as the situation is stable in Delhi.”

Delhi Government on Monday launched ‘Rozgaar Bazzar’ to bring job seekers and employers on one platform.

“This step will give a boost to the jobs market and the economy. The job seekers and employers can go to the website where they can find suitable job opportunities as well as those looking to recruit will have a database of the suitable job seekers,” said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Those looking for jobs can also update their qualification, experience and requirements on this online platform, he added.

Candidates need to fill the details as per their qualifications. After successful registration, the employer will get in contact with the job seeker.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a job portal on Monday and appealed to the traders, industrialists and people to join hands to revive Delhi’s economy.

The portal — — will serve as a “Rozgar Bazaar” for the recruiters and job aspirants, Kejriwal said, highlighting that many people had lost their jobs and businesses were affected due the novel coronavirus pandemic.

“There are people who want jobs and there are traders, businessmen, professionals, contractors who are not getting the right person for their work,” he said at a virtual press briefing. “This portal will fill this gap by bringing them together on one platform.”

Kejriwal said a special order was being issued to allow the street vendors to resume work.

According to the chief minister, many migrant workers who left Delhi during the lockdown have started returning.

Labour Minister Gopal Rai had said the services of the job portal would be free and an applicant need not pay any money to anyone for registration.
