Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-CSIR, North East Institute of Science and Technology-NEIST, Jorhat invite CSIR NEIST Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2021 to scholars of North East Region for chasing Under Graduate Program in Natural/Basic Sciences at B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons), Integrated M.Sc./MS Programmes in any one of the recognized institutions in India. It is expected that through this CSIR NEIST Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2021 students will be encouraged to take science as their career. During the course, a possibility will be provided for training/project work for a maximum period of half a year in any CSIR laboratory in India. However, this scholarship does not award any right on the student selected for regularization or absorptive in aught of the offices of CSIR.
Eligibility Criteria CSIR NEIST Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2021
- This scholarship is exclusively for North East India.
- Students must have 70% marks or (or 7 in 10 scales) in 10th and 12th grade.
- Students must pass the science stream.
- Only scholarship holders will be eligible to avail of the training stipend.
- Good preference will be awarded to Economic Vicar Student through scholarship.
Period Of Time Of Scholarship
The duration of CSIR NEIST Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2021 and remuneration will be for a period of 3 years covering the duration of the course in which the candidate was admitted. The wage will be for a period of six months. However, the payment of the scholarship will be guided by the satisfaction of section seven.
Benefits CSIR NEIST Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2021
- Scholarships value will be up to Rs 1500/- per month.
- Apart from this, Rs 1500/- will be given to you for six months for project and training.
- This scholarship is organized every year at the North East Center.
Selection Procedure CSIR NEIST Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2021
- Stare for applications from pupils scoring a minimum of 70% (or 7 out of 10) in 10 + 2 exam through advertisement in the newspaper.
- Financially weak students will be selected for the award.
- Amidst the economically weaker students, the selection will be received in order of merit. If essential, personal interviews will be implemented for final determination.
- Documents required: Application forms duly filled with required documents in a closed cover should be sent by speed post or registered post only to the address given on or before 15 September 2021.
