Patna, State Bureau. Scholarship for BC and EBC students in Bihar: In Bihar, the way has been cleared for the backward and most backward class students to get scholarships soon. In the current financial year, the government has released Rs 3110 crore for the payment of Bihar scholarship to the concerned students under the state scheme by the Backward and Most Backward Classes Welfare Department. With this, the scholarship will be sent to the backward and most backward class students studying in elementary to higher secondary schools in their bank account soon.

Information related to tap water connection and other facilities provided in government schools of the state will be uploaded on the MedhaSoft portal @medhasoft.bih.nic.in. For this, the State Project Director of Bihar Education Project Council Shrikant Shastri has ordered all the districts to provide information related to all schools on the portal within 15 days from 7 February 2022. 

On the recommendation of the Bihar Public Service Commission, the Education Department has posted the 69 officers selected in the Bihar Service cadre. In this regard, Departmental Director Sushil Kumar issued a notification on Friday. The posting of these officers is expected to provide relief to the officers holding additional charges in the Education Department.
