केंद्रीय अल्पसंख्यक कार्य मंत्रालय की अधीनस्थ संस्था मौलाना आजाद एजुकेशन फाउंडेशन (MAEF) की ओर से नौवीं, 10वीं, 11वीं और 12वीं कक्षा की मेधावी छात्राओं के लिए ‘बेगम हजरत महल राष्ट्रीय छात्रवृत्ति योजना’ चलाई जाती है।

1) Begam Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship Scheme for minorities’ girls

The official authority of  Minority Affairs, Government of India supports the Indian girl applicants who belong to the minority class for their higher studies at the college level. The meritorious girl student got selected from class 10 will be eligible to apply for 12th in any stream or can apply for any technical course.

  • The students passed 10th from a well-recognized school are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

2) National Overseas Scholarship for Minority Students: Karnataka

The officials of Minorities welfare association, Government of Karnataka introduced a scholarship program for Karnataka students to go abroad for higher education check for more GOKDOM. The family income of the candidate must be below than 6 Lac yearly.

  • The candidate below 38 years in age from Karnataka State is eligible to apply for this scholarship.

3)  Minority Higher Secondary Scholarship Gujarat:

The official authority of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment of India, Government of Gujarat supports the minority students for their higher studies after qualifying the high school examinations. The yearly income of the student’s family should not be above than 2.5 Lac annually.

  • The students belong to the minorities are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • As a scholarship rewards, the candidate will receive INR 475-725, annually.

 4) Swami Vivekananda Scholarship

The student belongs to Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi for students of public school/ Government Schools / KV’s/ NDMC/ Delhi Cantonment Board are eligible for the scholarship program.

  • The minority students from class 1st to 12th are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • The annual income of the applicant’s family must be below INR 2 lac annually.
  • The scholarship reward will be INR 600 to INR 4500 annually.

6) Scholarship Scheme for Educationally Backward Minority Applicants: Delhi

The scholarship scheme is provided by higher authorities of Directorate of Education, Government of NCT, Delhi. It is to supports the minority students of Delhi for higher education. This financial support will give wings to their dream.

  • The minority students from class 1st to 12th are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • The annual income of the applicant’s family must be below INR 2 lac annually.
  • The scholarship reward will be INR 600 to INR 4500 annually.

I do not have an Aadhaar card.

If any students do not have an Aadhaar card then they must have received it from the Aadhaar enrollment ship. And along with this, they have to show their driver’s license, passport, bank detail, pan card.

Is an Aadhaar card linked to the bank account required?

Applicants must have to enter the Aadhaar in their online the application is correct and if their Aadhaar is linked to any of their bank accounts, then in such cases the scholarship amount will be credited to the bank account linked to that Aadhaar directly. 

The bank account holder should check their ‘Know Your Customer (KYC) status from the bank and if necessary the transaction of scholarship amount should be done to make KYC successful.
